Harbor improved to 2–0 for the first time since the 2023–24 season with a 7-2 victory over Marina on Tuesday, powered by a big day from Sofia Monroe and a dominant outing in the circle from Hana Pomrantz.
Monroe led the offense, going 3-for-4 with two triples and a single, while Pomrantz struck out 13 batters and allowed two runs over seven innings to secure the win.
Harbor jumped out early with four runs in the first inning as Mackenzie Williams-Zamora, Pomrantz, Saige Buck, and Kylee Rimicci each drove in runs. Monroe added an RBI single in the second to extend the lead.
The Pirates finished with 10 hits and 11 stolen bases, with Maelee Clark, Buck, Monroe, and Charlie Correa-Holtzinger each swiping multiple bags as Harbor backed Pomrantz with aggressive base running and error-free defense.
